Robert Hitchins successfully pre-let the builders merchants scheme at Kingsway Park to national operator MKM Building Suppliers Limited on a 20 year lease.  Working closely with MKM planning consent was secured for their proposed use and the building was developed in line with their corporate specification.  The site is located in a  prominent position adjoining Asda on Newhaven Road and also sits close to the new Lidl foodstore also developed by Robert Hitchins.

The new builders merchants is the final element of the Kingsway scheme which has emerged on the site of the former 340-acre RAF Quedgeley campus.  The original masterplan included 3,300 homes, a 40 acre employment site community and leisure facilitiies, retail sports area and primary school.
