A new website has been launched for Eastern Business Park, a Grade A business park near Cardiff, recently refurbished by developer Robert Hitchins Ltd:

Eastern Business Park offers top-class facilities for its occupiers, including a dedicated restaurant with collaborative business lounge, an Energie Fitness gym, superfast fibre broadband, a children’s nursery, changing rooms with showers, a drying room and internal cycle storage, universal access, 24-hour security and a concierge reception.

The new restaurant and collaborative business lounge have been comprehensively refurbished and extend to more than 5,000ft2 when including the external courtyard terrace.

The hugely successful and well-equipped Energie Fitness gym is open, a barber and beauty salon are soon to follow.

All of these facilities and the workspaces above them can be viewed remotely via the virtual tour on the new website, minimising the need for anyone to put on a mask and visit at the early stages of their interest.

“We decided to transform the site with modern working in mind,” said Senior Asset and Development Manager for Robert Hitchins, John Jones.

“We are proud to have created the ultimate working campus that provides a platform for people to weave healthy choices into their work lifestyle.

“As well as the fantastic facilities, our big plus is flexibility: we can offer all types of lease length for all sizes of company or individual, from those seeking a single desk within our serviced office space to a business relocating a team of 500 people requiring 40,000ft2. We are also making the process of moving to Eastern more straightforward by offering fitted out, plug-in and play workspaces, allowing businesses to crack on and do what they do best.”

He added that, in the current climate influenced by Covid-19, out-of-town office space is exceptionally well-suited to the most recent and considered ways of working.

The offices are not only spread across three different buildings with separate entrances and exits, but also consist of large work spaces with good floor-to-ceiling heights that naturally facilitate social distancing.

Rents are also significantly lower than in city centre accommodation, allowing businesses to acquire larger offices to allow their teams to comfortably spread out without increasing occupational outgoings.

Eastern Business Park’s location (five minutes from the M4 at St Mellons), its 900 on-site parking spaces and cycling facilties provide employees with comprehensive commuting options allowing them to decide their appropriate route to work whether on public transport, driving or cycling.

The agents are Chris Terry from Cushman & Wakefield and Huw Thomas, CPCin Cardiff.

Chris Terry, Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “When it comes to out-of-town space, Eastern Business Park is South Wales’s premiere business park offering occupiers modern Grade A office suites of varying sizes with a wide range of excellent on-site amenities and the best car parking ratios in Cardiff.”

Huw Thomas added: “Eastern has proved popular with public, private and Third Sector tenants including the Independent Office for Police Conduct, Bellway Homes, Taylor Wimpey, Victim Support, Guide Dogs for the Blind and architects Powell Dobson.”
