Cotswold Designer Outlet and Garden Centre shapes up!

Significant interest is being generated in the latest Designer Outlet to come out of the blocks which will be located directly adjacent to Junction 9 (Tewkesbury) of the M5 motorway serving an area from Bristol to Birmingham and across the Cotswolds.
Following the granting of outline planning permission in 2016 for a Designer Outlet Centre of 180,000ft² and a Garden Centre of 81,000ft² with parking for 2,100 cars, developer Robert Hitchins Ltd has now submitted an initial reserved matters application to Tewkesbury Borough Council for the 23-hectare site which sets the scene for the forthcoming development which will start on site in 2020 and open in spring 2022.
The initial reserved matters application submitted sets out the design principles for the development, highlighting the style and quality of materials to be used. Further planning applications will be submitted in the coming months.
