Robert Hitchins obtained planning, pre let on a 20 year lease and developed a 1,743 sq ft Starbucks drive-thru outlet in February 2026 for franchisee Magic Bean. 

The drive thru sits on the site of the former RAF officers mess which was demolished to make way for the new facility

 

The site fronts the main entrance to the Kingsway mixed-use development which includes new homes, schools, employement, retail and leisure facilities. Over the years, Robert Hitchins have developed a range of commercial facilties for blue chip companies including Lidl, B&M, Pure Gym and MKM Builders Merchants.
